Skate Parks are the rage with kids these days, and Troy, Huntington Woods, and Livonia Parks and Recreation Departments have the coolest outdoor skate parks in Michigan! We'll be the only group using these Skate Park before noon. Our skate staff will have an all access pass to all of the jumps, half pipes, rails, grind boxes, etc… This instructional camp will be the perfect opportunity for children interested in learning the tricks they see on ESPN's X-Games in a safe, well-structured camp. Campers are allowed to bring both their skateboards and roller blades each day. One of our staff members will be on roller blades throughout the week. Full protective equipment will be required for all participants (helmet with chin-strap, wrist guards, kneepads, and elbow pads). Staff members will be required to wear helmets just like the kids. Throughout the week, campers will be challenged progressively, encouraging them to do more difficult moves, while using all apparatuses safely. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt on Friday as well as an ice-cold bottle of Gatorade daily.
